In 2024, Colas Joint Venture became the first company in Ireland to achieve company-wide Level 3 certification on the CO₂ Performance Ladder — a landmark moment for green public procurement in Irish infrastructure. Commissioned by the Irish Green Building Council, we spent one day across two locations capturing the story behind that achievement. We filmed at the Colas offices and on location at the motorway site, interviewing the Head of Road Asset Management and Colas's Sustainability Champion about what the certification meant for the business — from switching to renewable fuels to introducing Ireland's first fully electric Impact Protection Vehicle. The result is a five-minute documentary-style case study that sits at the intersection of infrastructure, sustainability and real human story.
